While I was a little reluctant to have a nice family lunch in a restaurant that seems a little heavy handed with the Confederate flag... I was pleasantly surprised. What a nice place to grab a beer and meal downtown. (There are no flags inside, fyi) The decor is top notch. Sort of a southern, whiskey bar kinda place. Lots of TVs for sports. The drink selection is pretty basic, but we had no problem sucking down some domestics. The food was better than I expected, with the Reuben seeming to be the highlight of the menu. Can't wait to give that Cuban a try!

My boyfriend and I were visiting local attractions and were pointed to this little place by a local who highly recommended it. We ordered bbq pulled pork on cheese fries, and the brisket the same way. There aren't enough swear words to express accurately how bomb it was. We ordered them in "regular" size, which means we ate half there, and left full and praying. Then drove six hours home to eat the second half cold. I told our cashier if we ever have a son, it may be named either Mason or Dixon.

Drove by to many times to count but never stopped in, WOW! Big mistake! We stopped and went in, great atmosphere and smell. Ordered the Ribs, fell off the bone and so delicious. Sauce is outstanding. Ordered the Brisket Sammuch, it's to die for, tender and the sauce outstanding! Won't be driving by any longer and can't wait to take my son who lives in SC and takes me to a special BBQ place he loves in Charleston, think ours is better but we'll have wait and see the outcome Haha! We will be trying everything on the menu because it all our favorite smoked meats and sides. Staff was really friendly and courteous! Thank You for the experience and our new go to place for BBQ! "Wife and I went there yesterday Feb 19th for our 44th wedding anniversary for lunch.
Food was fantastic and staff was super friendly.
When the owner came around to check and make sure everything was good he found out about why we there for lunch.
Next think you know he was delivering 2 big chocolate chip cookies to us as a treat.
I tried to tease him into recipe for his beans. He wouldn't give it up. LOL. Said was granmas recipe that he grew up on.
But I did make out like a winner. He presented me with a container of baked beans to take home with us.
I couldnt have asked for a better time for lunch.
We will be back again."
